SKIN: Warm a small amount of tallow in your hand for easy spreading. Apply a amount directly on the desired area of skin for a nourishing coverage. Can be regularly applied throughout the day as required. Tallow is perfect for targeted moisture and protection for dry or irritated areas such as elbows, knees, hands, chapped lips and cuticles.

AS A NATURAL INGREDIENT IN SKINCARE AND HAIRCARE FORMULATIONS: Our 100% Tallow is carefully rendered from beef, providing a pure, nourishing fat perfect for a range of cosmetic applications. Rich in stearic acid and other skin-loving nutrients, this tallow is ideal for DIY skincare and haircare, such as balms, moisturisers, pomades and soaps. Its creamy luxurious texture and deep conditioning properties make it a favourite for natural beauty formulations.

HAIR: Apply a small amount to scalp/edges and gently massage with fingertips. For dry hair, rub hands together and lightly disperse the product through mid-lengths and ends. May be used regularly for maximum results. Can be left in the hair until the next shampoo. Or alternatively apply a more generous amount to the hair and scalp as a Pre-Shampoo treatment. Leave for at least 30 minutes or overnight.

STEPS FOR A RICH HAIR MASK:

1. Apply to hair, from roots to ends. Can be used on its own or mixed with other hair loving ingredients (see below for using this product with Chebe Powder)

2. Leave on for 30 minutes to 1 hour

3. Rinse thoroughly with warm water

4. Shampoo and condition as usual

Tallow can also be used as a beneficial ingredient in hair masks, pomades and butters.

Traditionally women in Chad use Beef Fat (Tallow) with their Chebe. Chebe (pronounced shea bay) powder is a traditional hair growth remedy from Chad, Africa. It has been used for generations to increase hair growth and prevent breakage. All natural, and only available from plants in this remote part of Africa. Chebe Powder can be mixed with oils, butters and rich natural ingredients such as Tallow for amazing results. Many report outstanding results using Chebe Powder mixed with Chebe.

Storage:  Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. If the product melts in warm weather, it can be stored in the refrigerator.

Tallow will solidify in cooler temperatures and be softer in warmer temperatures. If melting occurs during transit in the warmer months, this will not effect the product and it will solidify when back in cooler conditions. You can put the product in the fridge if it has melted.

Due to the natural nature of this product, variations in appearance and texture may occur between batches as a result of seasonal and temperature changes.

Note: We always recommend conducting a patch test on a small area of skin before full application. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult with your doctor.
