What Are the Benefits of Jamaican Black Castor Oil for Hair Growth?

Jamaican Black Castor oil penetrates the scalp and awakens hair follicles. This is wonderful for hair growth and strengthening treatment. Some of the benefits include:

How to use for best results:

Apply the oil to your scalp and hair root regularly and leave on for several hours (ideally overnight). Your hair may be wet or dry. The oil is thick, so use depending on your hair texture. Applying at night and rinsing off in the morning is often the best method for frequent use. Many people find that using the oil once or twice a week as above gives them great results.

For ultimate hair growth and moisture:

Using the applicator, apply small amounts of this high quality Jamaican Black Castor Oil regularly (preferably daily) to the roots of your hair and scalp. Then massage the oil into your scalp using your fingertips paying particular attention to thinning/ balding areas. Massage onto to scalp regularly. Massaging your scalp promotes hair growth due to the increase blood flow to the hair follicles. You may leave the oil on overnight for best results. For extra treatment you can apply a plastic conditioner cap each night to seal in the moisture. Shampoo twice and condition to remove.


Use on wet or dry hair - Use As: A daily sealant to retain moisture - A Pre-Shampoo - An Oil Rinse 


This is a treatment to grow slow hair faster. You should use the treatment for 60 days to see significant results in hair growth. You can continue to use the treatment, but no longer than 90 days. Your scalp and hair follicles need a period to rest from the over process work. Take a break from the treatment for 7-10 days and start the treatment again.

Once per week use Jamaican Black Castor Oil as a full hair intensive treatment. Use small amounts of the oil and massage into the hair as well as the scalp. Shampoo twice and condition to remove.

Hair growth results are generally noticeable within 1-3 months.

BONUS TIP: You can rub a tiny amount of Jamaican Black Castor oil on eyelids/ eyelash line at night to help eyelash growth as well. To use, squeeze one drop on to your finger or a cotton swab and gently massage into lash line. Or gently use the applicator. I prefer to do this at night to let it work overnight before cleansing my face in the morning. Use daily for noticeable results. This can also be used on eyebrows to help with thinning eyebrows. Keep out of eyes.

Important Notes:

With any new oil, herb or product, test a tiny amount on your inner arm to make sure you don’t have a reaction to Jamaican Black Castor oil. While reactions are rare, some people will notice irritation from castor oil. Discontinue use/ seek medical advice if irritation occurs. For External use only- Do not use internally.
